ABSTRACT
The Ukraine invasion is arguably the single most important event in this century so far. So many geopolitical outcomes and changes have been caused and will be caused by this invasion. As part of this, Russia has engaged in informational warfare, much of which is propaganda through articles. This study attempts to quantify the outflow of information, chronicle the narrative changes and track the type of language as the invasion has progressed. This will be done by creating a corpus of Russian government funded sources spanning from the beginning of the invasion in February 2022 to March 2023. This study will track and quantify the language of the corpus by performing topic mapping, sentiment analysis, and visualization through topic clusters. The goal of this study is not to be the arbiter of truth but to be the dutiful chronicler of Russian propaganda and its implications.
